Blackwing x New York Magazine (Set of 12)

Since 1968, New York Magazine has been a bi-weekly destination for life, culture, politics, and crossword puzzles. In the magazine's first year, famed composer Stephen Sondheim contributed a new puzzle each month and, in the years since, New York has been home to some of the best puzzle designers in the world.

We teamed up with New York Magazine to design a special crossword puzzle pencil for solving their trickiest word games. We worked with their puzzle designers to create a special puzzle for this release. Each set includes the full puzzle in the box, and each pencil features a slice of the puzzle printed on its barrel. As you solve the puzzle on paper, you can fill in the squares on your pencil to “finish” the pencil’s design.

Each Blackwing x New York Magazine pencil features our extra-firm graphite that is perfect for extended puzzle-solving sessions. The pencil also features a black imprint, black ferrule, silver clip, and green eraser.
